Collaboration and persistence bring South Sacramento Habitat Conservation Plan to life

How do you preserve the Sacramento region's agriculture, natural resources, endangered species, and critical habitat, while still allowing for the necessary growth of area cities and housing? With dogged determination and working together to find a balance amongst county and city planners, the building industry, environmental groups, ranchers, farmers, and state and federal government agencies.
